Objective
Practice balance and warm-up
Organisation
⌛Duration: 5-10min
👥Participants: 3 or more
⚙️️Equipment: a space without obstacles
Description
Works like Red Light, Green Light.
The counter says "1-2-3- parkour!" out loud. When he says "parkour", he turns around and everybody balances on one leg. If they see somebody lose balance, the counter calls their name and they must go back to the start. The first to reach the counter takes his place in the next round.
Variations
➖Practitioners can move their upper body to keep their balance, but if they move their foot or put their second foot down, they must go back to their starting point.
➕Move around by jumping. When the counter turns around, practitioners must jump and land on one foot.
➕Move around on all fours. When the counter turns around, practitioners balance on two points of contact (opposite foot and hand).
Notes
Don't hesitate to invent your own variations including movements that you will use in your lesson !
